Joy Clark

Joy has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative writing from Stephen F. Austin State University. Her writing has been featured in numerous publications including Kenyon Review Online, Bayou Magazine, and New Delta Review. Her editorial experience includes work as Fiction Editor and Copy Editor of The Arkansas Review and Fiction Editor of HUMID: Undergraduate Literary Journal. She also served for two years as an Editorial Intern at Tin House Publishing in Portland, Oregon, where she received hands-on experience developing social media and website content. Clark’s awards include an Artist 360 Practicing Artist Grant in January 2021, a Walton Family Endowment for Creative Writing in 2019-2020 and 2017-2018, and a 2017-2018 James T. Whitehead Creative Endowment.
