The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow (WCDH) continues to improve its facilities under the guidance of Managing Director, Jeanne Glass. Thanks to a generous donation, the old deadbolts on the doors to both buildings now feature programmable door locks. Glass said, “The new locks allow us to provide access by simply sharing a code. It improves safety and convenience for writers, staff, and the board of directors. And as an added bonus, we’ll no longer have the hassle of lost keys.”
Executive Director, Michelle Hannon, said, “The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow would like to extend a heartfelt thankyou to author and Writers’ Colony alumna, Linda Leavell, and her husband, Brooks Garner, for generously funding this improvement. They have been so generous funding fellowships, scholarships, and capital improvements, and providing support in a myriad of other ways. We are immensely grateful.”
