WORKSHOPS AT THE WRITERS' COLONY

Writing proposal.png

Many of our alumni hold workshops with us as a way to connect with our audience while also benefitting The Writers' Colony and our writers. We hold workshops year-round, in person in the Northwest Arkansas area and online, and we aim for a variety of content including genre, stage of writing, and level of expertise required to benefit from the workshop (with an emphasis on supporting emerging writers). To find a listing of our upcoming workshops please visit our event page here.

Would you like to teach a writing workshop? We are always looking for new talent to teach writing workshops of all genres to writers, poets, and artists in our community and surrounding areas.  And with online accessibility becoming the standard, we now have access to writing talent around the world!

If you'd like to work with us to hold a workshop, please complete our Workshop Proposal Form. Typical workshops range from one 1.5-hour workshop to week-long intensive workshops. Terms and benefits are negotiable, but we do calculate costs and benefits (both monetary and otherwise) to help us determine the best use of our efforts.  If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call us at (479) 253-7444 or email at director@writerscolony.org
