WCDH is Pleased to Announce Four Winners of the 2024 “My Time” Fellowship for Parents

The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow is pleased to announce the four winners of the 2024 “My Time” Fellowship. A fellowship for parents. A’Ja Lyons, Atia Sattar, Liz Blood and Paul McKinley were selected from eighty-nine applications received from writers across the U.S., and overseas. This fellowship required applicants to be parents of children still in the household and, could take a variety of forms, including memoirs, autobiography, biography, history, journalism, and even drama and poetry. Each winner will receive a one-week residency at the Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow, and stipend for childcare or travel.

The fellowship sponsor is James Dean, children’s book author of The Pete the Cat Series.
