Clarissa Willis

Clarissa Willis is an award-winning children’s author, educator, and longtime advocate for early learning. The 2026 inductee into the Arkansas Writers Hall of Fame, she has written eight acclaimed picture books and presented on child development and inclusive education across all fifty states and internationally. A lifelong Arkansan and devoted mentor to emerging writers, Clarissa brings decades of storytelling, scholarship, and service to the Writers’ Colony board.
